Reverse Engineer Post

For this assignment i will be taking three photos demonstrating leading lines, the rule of thirds, and depth of field. Then i will get three of my own photos and post them demonstrating the same three things.

looking at this photo all the leading lines lead your eye towards the sun set.

this photo was found on https://digital-photography-school.com/how-to-use-leading-lines-for-better-compositions/

on this photo the photographer framed the photo so the people were right on the line of thirds. the photographer also had the people on the left side because they are walking to the right.
this photo was found online at https://www.colesclassroom.com/using-rule-thirds-photography/

this photo is really cool and good because it has a really shallow depth of field which makes the leaf super detailed but the background is blurred which doesn’t distract you from the main subject of the photo which is the leaf.

this photo was taken by cam miller and found on https://www.picturecorrect.com/tips/how-to-get-shallow-depth-of-field/
on this image the water coming off the rocks on the right side the water is flowing down on the right side line.
on this image i focused on the bird and had the fence in the foreground and the background blurred.
on this photo the trees and clouds lead your eye to the wall and the rock climber on the wall which is the main subject.

when you follow these 3 rules on a photo it makes the photo look better, on the pictures that have all three of these rules the photo looks really good. but if you don’t have all three rules in one photo it can still look really good.
